Press centre of the Ukrainian military headquarters reports about the arrest of a Russian citizen in the Mariupol sector close to Ukrainian troops’ positions on Jan. 18.
“During the inspection of documents it was found out that the person is a citizen of the Russian Federation, the Krasnodar Territory resident of the town of Kurganinsk. In addition, the documents found prove that he belongs to one of the units of the Russian-occupation forces,” a message says posted on the Defense Ministry’s official website.
