You're reading: Kyiv to open kindergartens, hotels without restaurants, beaches on June 1

Starting from June 1, kindergartens, hotels, beaches will open in Kyiv, burying grounds will be allowed for visiting, said deputy head of Kyiv City State Administration Petro Panteleyev following the outcomes of the meeting of the commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations.

“Kindergartens and schools for eleven forms are prepared for opening since June 1, I mean passing of external independent testing. Institutions of professional, technical and higher education will work for graduates and applicants,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv on May 23.

According to him, the hotels are prepared to open since June 1, but without the work of the restaurants.

“Since June 1, children and youth sports schools, sports centers, fitness rooms, but without swimming pools, are also prepared for opening. Beaches and leisure zones will also start its work since June 1,” he said adding that the burying grounds would be also permitted for visiting starting from June 1.

Though, the decision on the work of the shopping malls will be taken separately, depending on the incidence rate.
