The District Administrative Court of Kyiv considers illegal the imposition of a fine by the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) on Head of the court Pavlo Vovk.

“Today, the media posted information that the High Anti-Corruption Court allegedly imposed a fine of Hr 4,540 on head of Kyiv’s District Administrative Court Pavlo Vovk. It should be noted this is not only his personal position, but also the position of the Ukrainian court, the High Council of Justice, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine and, most importantly, the position of the Ukrainian law,” the District Administrative Court’s press service said on its website on Sept. 29.

At the same time, the District Administrative Court said “probably the HACC and NABU have their own special law.”

“Note that some people will sooner or later have to read and implement the Ukrainian law, and most importantly – be responsible for its systematic ignoring,” the court said.
