MP Serhiy Leshchenko of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction has asked the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NACP) to check Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s possible failure to declare works of art and real estate in Spain.

First Deputy Speaker Iryna Gerashchenko announced this at the plenary session on Nov. 4, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.

“[A request by MP] Serhiy Leshchenko to the head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention concerning Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s possible failure to declare expensive works of art and real estate in Spain,” Gerashchenko said.

Leshchenko also sent to the prosecutor general another request to probed alleged illegal seizure of Zhytomyr confectionary by a group of people organized by MP Serhiy Pashynsky of the People’s Front Party faction in parliament.
