The appointment of Kurt Volker as Special Representative for Ukraine by the U.S. Department of State indicates that the United States is strengthening its participation in the settlement of the conflict in Donbas, MP from the Opposition Bloc faction Serhiy Liovochkin believes.

“The appointment of the special representative is the obvious strengthening of the U.S. participation in the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine,” he wrote on his Twitter page.

He stressed Volker is a high-level specialist.
