“Officers and investigators of the special services established that a resident of Luhansk, a former paratrooper, joined the pro-Russian fighters and participated in hostilities as part of a reconnaissance company of one of the illegal armed groups,” the press service of the SBU reports.

After he left the “service”, he decided to hide in Dnipro where he found a job.

At the moment, the detainee was informed about the suspicion under Part 2 of Article 260 (creation of armed formations not provided for by law or participation in their activities) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of arrest is being resolved.
