MINSK – Aggression has been launched against Belarus, and protests have been organized from abroad, and involved in them are people “with a substantial criminal past,” Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said.
People “from Poland, the Netherlands, Ukraine, from this Open Russia, [Russian opposition leader Alexei] Navalny’s people, and so on and so forth have been coming here. Aggression has been started against the country,” the state news agency BelTA quoted Lukashenko as saying at a conference with members of the Belarusian Security Council on August 14.
