At a meeting of the State Commission on Manmade Disaster and Emergency Response, it was decided to transfer the cities of Lutsk and Ternopil from the “red” lockdown zone to the “orange” one from August 8, Health Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov said.
“Until the decision was made, the epidemiological indicators allowed the city of Lutsk to be transferred from the “red” zone to the “orange” zone. This transfer will take place from tomorrow, August 8,” Stepanov said following the commission’s meeting on the safety of coronavirus (COVID-19) spread on August 7.
The minister said that epidemiological indicators also allow the city of Ternopil to be transferred from “red” to “yellow” level of epidemiological danger.
“This decision will also come into force from tomorrow, August 8,” Stepanov said.
