Institutions of physical culture, sports and hotels in Lviv will continue to work, according to the city authorities.
“The Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies has adapted the decision of the state commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies and the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers on the introduction of an “orange” quarantine zone in Lviv. The work of most institutions in the city does not change, provided that anti-epidemic requirements are met, the use of masks, disinfectants, distance and the like. Also, markets, supermarkets, shopping and entertainment centers, sports and catering establishments will be separately checked for compliance with quarantine requirements,” the City Council website says.
Lviv City Council once again urged residents and guests of the city to be careful, follow all the recommendations on quarantine, stay indoors in masks or respirators, use antiseptics, maintain physical distance, and the like.
In turn, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy wrote on Facebook: “Fitness centers and hostels in Lviv will operate in compliance with all quarantine standards. Monitoring groups will check compliance with these rules. There is no need to adapt the city with the rules of “orange” zone, because we have been living in this regime for the last six months.”
As reported, on August 1, new rules for adaptive quarantine began to operate in Ukraine. The regions are divided into four zones according to the level of epidemic danger. Lutsk, Ternopil, as well as Kitsmansky district of Chernivtsi region were included in the “red” zone.
Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk fell into the “orange” zone: the work of hostels and tourist centers, entertainment establishments and restaurants is prohibited at night, work of gyms, fitness centers, cultural institutions is prohibited as well.
Earlier, the city councils of Lutsk and Ternopil refused to increase quarantine measures.
