Lviv Oblast has new anti-record of 240 COVID-19 cases over the day

Some 240 people were diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in Lviv region over the past 24 hours, Deputy Director of Lviv Regional Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital Ihor Bernyk said on his Facebook page.

“According to the results of PCR-diagnostics, another 240 people have a positive result of COVID-19 in the region over the past 24 hours,” Bernyk said.

He said that the total number of people infected with COVID-19 reached 4,220 patients in the region.

The current infection rate is the highest from the start of the epidemic.
