A mass vaccination center has started operating in Kyiv Boryspil International Airport as of Aug. 9, Ukrinform reported.
The vaccination center, based on the first floor of Terminal D, will provide Coronavac and Pfizer jabs daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Shots will be free for all Ukrainian citizens, people with residence permits or refugee certificates. Airport officials told the Kyiv Post that people with both permanent and temporary residence permits will be eligible.
A copy of one of these documents will be required along with any tax ID a mobile phone number.
Rapid and PCR tests are available at Boryspil’s sampling point on the 2nd floor of Terminal D that’s open 24/7. PCR tests cost Hr 610 – 700 ($23 – 26) while express tests cost Hr 480 – 550 ($18 – 21).
The capital’s other mass vaccination point is based inside the International Exhibition Center near the Livoberezhna metro station. There are 197 mass vaccination centers in cities throughout Ukraine.
The fifth and final stage of COVID-19 vaccination began in Ukraine on July 21. According to the Ministry of Health, more than 2.7 million people have received their first dose and 1.5 million people have been fully vaccinated as of July 21.
