Germany is ready to support judicial reform and reforms in the justice sector in Ukraine, German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said.
“I want to express my high respect for the reforms that the president supports in the field of justice, judicial reform. These are very important tasks that play a big role for citizens’ confidence in their state, and we are ready to support, help as soon as we can,” Merkel said at a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv on Sunday, Aug. 22.
“We know that there are a lot of vacancies for judges, and here our help continues,” she said.
