Head of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli has expressed hope that the incumbent leadership of Ukraine will continue implementing reforms that will promote rapprochement with the EU.
He said he had no doubt about the vector. He hopes that the new leadership of Ukraine will work towards European integration. The positive thing is that they will not need to start from scratch, because some progress has already been made in implementing the Association Agreement, Mingarelli said at a press conference in Kyiv.
The ambassador noted that the previous leadership of Ukraine was clearly and consistently working towards rapprochement between Ukraine and the European Union.
Mingarelli also pointed out the need for reforms in the energy sector of Ukraine, the land market and the anti-corruption field.
