You're reading: Moscow City Court sentences Ukrainian Sushchenko to 12 years for spying

The Moscow City Court has found Ukrainian citizen Roman Sushchenko guilty of spying in Russia and sentenced him to 12 years in a high-security penitentiary, an Interfax correspondent reported from the courthouse.

Judge Oleg Muzychenko ruled on June 4 “to find Sushchenko guilty of committing a crime under Article 276 of the Russian Criminal Code (spying) and sentence him to 12 years in a high-security penitentiary.”
