The Ukrainian-Lithuanian draft “Marshal Plan” project for Ukraine has been presented in European institutions and will be studied by the European Commission (EC), Head of the Ukrainian Mission to the EU Mykola Tochytsky has said.

“This plan has been presented at European institutions and the European Commission took this seriously enough. Given the fact the Ukrainian-Lithuanian plan has been recently transferred, the European Commission will study this proposal and see how they can participate in this,” he told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the official, the draft document provides for the issue of €5 billion annually to support reforms in Ukraine.

“What we are going to end up with, I mean the EU, because I can only talk here about the EU, how the EU will take part in this – this is subject to a further study, but I think in a month or a month and a half we will have some vision,” Tochytsky said.
