Half a year will be enough to create the High Anti-Corruption Court, Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Artem Sytnyk believes, but doubts that the authorities will have the appropriate enthusiasm.

“For my part, I can say that six months will be enough to create this court. Will there be such enthusiasm for our government? Frankly speaking, I have some doubts,” Sytnyk told journalists in Kyiv on Monday.

He noted that the adoption of the law is the first and important stage, but a much more responsible stage – the process of implementing the law and creating a court.

As reported, on June 7 the Verkhovna Rada passed the law on the High Anti-Corruption Court (presidential bill No. 7440), which is one of the key conditions for continuing cooperation with the IMF.
