The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) have completed an investigation against former judge of Dniprovsky District Court of Kyiv Mykola Chaus.

“NABU and SAPO have completed an investigation against the former judge of Dniprovsky District Court of Kyiv, who demanded and received an unlawful benefit of $150,000 on August 6, 2021, the defense opened the materials of the criminal proceedings for review before sending the indictment to the court. The suspect was summoned for questioning at NABU on August 5 and 6. At the same time, he refused to testify. However, the investigation has already collected enough evidence to draw up an indictment,” the NABU press service said in Telegram.

Law enforcement officers released fragments of declassified materials of covert investigative (search) actions that were codnucted by NABU and SAPO within the case.
