Commander of the National Guard of the State of California (US) Major General David Baldwin highly appreciates cooperation with the National Guard of Ukraine and expresses readiness for further joint exercises.
“Our partnership with the National Guard of Ukraine has never been as strong as it is now,” he said at a meeting with the leadership of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine and the leaders of subordinate departments, the press service of the National Guard said on Nov.30.
In turn, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov noted the significant support of the Californian National Guard.
“The joint work of the National Guard of California and the National Guard of Ukraine has been keeping on for a long time. And I want to thank you for the support you are giving us. For us, the National Guard is a separate project within the Interior Ministry. Therefore, the component of your experience is very important: everything related to your work in cooperation with border services and emergency services,” the minister said.
