Canada and Ukraine flatly rejected a report suggesting the regime was seeking immunity from future legal action after shooting down a passenger jet in January. The Iranian military shot down Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 on Jan. 8 shortly after it took off from Tehran, killing all 176 people aboard, including 55 Canadian citizens and 30 permanent residents.
