The new cultural center in the Embassy of Israel in Ukraine was opened in Kyiv on Thursday, March 16.
“This is an Israeli House… You can touch the state and become its part. Someone would be able to learn in Israel what he or she learnt in the center,” Minister of Immigrant Absorption, a member of the Knesset, Sofa Landver said at the ribbon-cutting ceremony in Kyiv.
Israel’s Ambassador to Ukraine Eliav Belotserkovsky said that the center is functioning in modern premises and more people will be able to visit it.
“We have finally moved to the center that presents our state in the right way. Here we have modern premises where more programs could be held. More and more people are interested in our programs and cultural ties,” the ambassador said.
