Ryanair, the Irish low-cost, opened six new destinations on Oct. 28. Starting at 1.35 pm Kyiv time, Ryanair began regular flights from Kyiv to Vilnius. The same day, Ryanair opened direct flights to Warsaw, Bydgoszcz (Poland), Barcelona, Bratislava and London.
The company is expected to connect Ukraine to 17 European cities, by early November, including 12 destinations from Kyiv and five more from Lviv.
Wizz Air, the Hungarian carrier, opened additional flights as well.
From Kharkiv, passengers can now travel directly to the Polish cities of Wroclaw and Gdansk, while from Lviv new flights to Vilnius and Bratislava will be available from Oct. 29 and the following day, respectively.
Ryanair’s flights are among the cheapest in Europe, with a direct flight to London starting from Hr 896 ($32).
Wizz Air is not far behind with prices ranging from Hr 758 from Kharkiv for January.
