A unique rehabilitation center Next Step Ukraine was opened for the wounded soldiers in Irpen, which is similar to the American rehabilitation center Next Step Recovery LLC operating in California (U.S.), the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

“The institution was created with donations from the Ukrainian Diaspora in the United States, collected by the organization Revived Soldiers Ukraine, which helped with the rehabilitation of Ukrainian wounded soldiers in Los Angeles. It will work on the funds of philanthropists … Many benefactors from Ukraine and from abroad have already joined the fundraising for the operation of the Center,” the General Staff said on Facebook on June 22.

According to the information, the Center provides for a cardio training area, an exercise bike, a rowing simulator, electrical myostimulation, and a virtual reality exercise for balance training for the rehabilitation of warriors with back injuries. Most of the training simulators, which will be used to help the soldiers, will soon arrive from New Jersey in Ukraine.

Physical therapists, who will assist the wounded soldiers, underwent training at the NextStep center in Los Angeles and saw how the American doctors set the wounded Ukrainian military on their feet.
