Russia’s hybrid military forces mounted three attacks since the beginning of the day on May 28, the Joint Forces Operation headquarters have written on their Facebook page.
At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine previously reported the absence of attacks by Russia-led forces from midnight as of noon. Thus, all the attacks were mounted in the afternoon.
“Since the beginning of today, there have been no casualties among our defenders amid enemy shelling,” the JFO HQ said.
According to the JFO headquarters, the Russia-backed separatists fired from 120mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. “In response, Ukrainian soldiers used on-time fire weapons and stopped enemy provocations,” the JFO HQ said.
In all three areas along the forces withdrawal lines, the ceasefire regime was observed.
