Over the past 24 hours, only one region of Ukraine registered a higher number of recovered coronavirus (COVID-19) patients than those ill with the disease.
According to the coronavirus epidemic monitoring system of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC), the highest number of COVID-19 cases was registered in Chernivtsi and Rivne regions, in Kyiv.
Thus, over the past 24 hours, 72 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Chernivtsi region, three fatalities and 31 recoveries (2,396 ill, 84 dead and 390 recovered for that period). Now 1,922 people are suffering illness in the region.
Fifty new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Rivne region, one fatality (since the pandemic onset there were 1,028 ill, 22 fatalities and 149 recoveries). Now 857 people are suffering from the virus.
As for the capital, there are 59 new cases of COVID-19 registered, one case is fatal. In total, there are 1,930 cases of illness registered, with 38 fatal cases and 138 recoveries. Now 1,754 people sustain illness in the capital.
