The number of people in Kyiv who were infected with COVID-19 disease over the past day has increased by 118 residents, which is 13 more cases than the day before.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said in Telegram that two patients died over the past day. In total, 114 Kyiv residents died from coronavirus.
Currently, there are already 5,465 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the capital of Ukraine.
Among the patients that got sick over the past day there are 56 women aged 20 to 75 years, 52 men aged 29 to 82 years, six girls aged 4 to 15 years and four boys 2 to 9 years old. In particular, nine doctors also got sick.
Some 19 patients were hospitalized. The rest are on self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.
Over the past day, 37 people recovered. In total, 1,770 residents of the capital overcame the coronavirus.
The largest number of COVID-19 cases over the past day were recorded in Dniprovsky district with 21 people infected, in Shevchenkivsky district with 17 infected people, and Holosiyevsky district with 16 cases.
