Currently Ukraine registers from 700 to 1,000 new cases of pneumonia per day, compared to 250-300 per day on May, Health Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov has said.
“As of today, we carry out testing for pneumonia and have around 700 new cases per day. I can say that, for example, in May, when we started to mitigate the lockdown measures and passed to the adaptive quarantine, this number [of pneumonia cases] was around 250-300 per day. So, you can see that the number of pneumonia cases has tripled,” he told a press briefing in Kyiv on June 27.
