You're reading: One Ukrainian soldier wounded in 14 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas

A soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was wounded in the fighting in eastern Ukraine on August 13, according to a report posted by the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on its Facebook page.

“During the current day, from 07.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., Russian-led forces violated the ceasefire 14 times, including five times from heavy weapons. Russia-backed separatists opened fire from grenade launchers, heavy machineguns and small arms on the positions of the Joint Forces near the settlements of Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Troitske, Novozvanivka, Novoluhanske, Novotroitske, Bohdanivka, Hnutove and Lebedynske,” the report says.

Separatists used 122mm artillery systems near Novotoshkivske, 82mm mortars near Troitske and Novozvanivka, and 120mm mortars near Bohdanivka. In some areas, Russia-led forces also used IFV weapons and anti-tank missile systems.
