You're reading: Online registration for COVID-19 vaccine launched in Kyiv

Kyiv residents can now register online for COVID-19 vaccination at the International Exhibition Center through Helsi.me, a service for booking doctor appointments.

To sign up for vaccination, Kyivans can go to the website and pick a suitable date and time for the appointment. The booking confirmation will soon be sent to the registered phone number.

Residents need to show the booking confirmation sent via SMS at the vaccination center, along with their passport and pre-registered application for COVID-19 vaccination in the Diia app.

Those who registered will then have their vaccination data available in the mobile app Helsi, offered for free in both Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The information can also be accessed from the user’s electronic account on the website.

A reminder to get a second dose of the vaccine will be sent to the user’s mobile app when the time comes.

For Kyivans aged 18 and older, vaccinations will be held during the weekend at the International Exhibition Center (15A Brovarskyi Ave.) located on the left bank of the city. Vaccination against COVID-19 is under a state program and free of charge.

The vaccine administered at the Exhibition Center is Coronavac, made by the Chinese producer Sinovac.

CEO of Helsi.me service Eugene Donets said online registration through the platform is currently only available for Kyiv residents, but they hope to make it available for residents of other cities as well in the near future.

Those who don’t get registered via Helsi can still get vaccinated at the Exhibition Center but will have to wait in line.

The vaccination center at the International Exhibition Center is open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. One is required to have the Diia app installed to get vaccinated.
