By the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated May 6, No. 504-r, the work of the Rava-Ruska automobile checkpoint on the border with Poland in the Lviv region, as well as the sea checkpoint in the port of Skadovsk, has been resumed at the state border.
“We also note that in accordance with order of April 15, 2020, No. 502-r, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine temporarily closed another 10 checkpoints, while the passage to nine of them was not carried out due to the relevant restrictions of neighboring countries. There was only the Palanka (Mayaky-Udobne) checkpoint on the border with Moldova among fully functioning,” the message released on May 7 says.
Subject to changes introduced by government decisions, 123 checkpoints were temporarily closed at the state border of Ukraine, and pedestrian traffic was temporarily stopped at 19 checkpoints.
The State Border Service also reminded that since March 17, checkpoints across the state border have been temporarily closed for international passenger rail, air and road (for buses) communications.
