You're reading: OSCE reports nine killed, over 40 injured in Donbas from January 29 to February 9

DONETSK – Nine people were killed and 41 injured in Donbas from Jan. 29 to Feb. 9, Alexander Hug, first deputy head of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe’s Special Monitoring Mission (OSCE SMM), said at a press conference on Feb. 12.

Over the period, the SMM registered 50 instances of civilian injuries, nine of them fatal, Hug said. This happened because weapons should have been removed long time ago, he said.
