OSCE Special Envoy to the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on Ukraine Martin Sajdik is expecting that this year will become crucial for fulfilling the Donbas agreements.

Following the TCG meeting in Minsk on January 18, Sajdik expressed hope that this year will become pivotal for implementing the Minsk Agreements.

The OSCE special envoy said that the TCG would remain the only permanent format to settle the crisis in eastern Ukraine and which would be taking efforts to settle and has been settling pressing problems, including the prisoner swap.
