This summer has become the most peaceful since the beginning of the conflict, Sajdik told journalists after a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk.

According to him, thanks to the agreed truce in connection with the beginning of harvesting and also in connection with the beginning of the academic year, it became possible to significantly reduce the number of ceasefire violations.

There was also a decrease in the number of civilian casualties during the whole summer, the special representative said.

In this regard, Sajdik said that according to the UN preliminary data in August their number reached one of the lowest levels during the entire conflict: two killed and six wounded.
