Since the beginning of 2021, some 400,000 people and more than 95,000 vehicles have crossed the border, the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports.
“During border control measures, more than 400 persons were denied a pass by the State Border Guard Service, of which more than 100 people are potential illegal migrants,” the press service reports.
Also, the border guards exposed three attempts by citizens to use faked documents, another 25 people tried to pass the control with invalid documents.
Also, officers of the State Border Guard Service found nine weapons, 47 items of ammunition, over 1.5 kilograms of psychotropic drugs, goods over Hr 200,000 and five specially made hiding places for their transportation.
