The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the launch in September 2017 of a pilot project to monitor land relations in Ukraine.
The government adopted the corresponding resolution at a meeting on August 23.
“The draft resolution on the implementation of the pilot project for monitoring land relations is about combining the databases of several agencies. Information located in different agencies will be combined for the time. It will be analyzed and consolidated. The World Bank is participating in this project,” First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Maksym Martyniuk said.
According to the document, the monitoring objective is to create an open information system reflecting the state of development of land relations in Ukraine and ensuring their transparency.
The resolution is develop in pursuance of the agreement between Ukraine and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The document is aimed at expanding the information base on the development of land relations owned by the Ministry of Justice, the State Court Administration, the State Fiscal Service, the State Statistics Service, the State Agency for Water Resources through exchange of information.
