Police detain man threatening to blow up Kyiv’s metro bridge

Members of Ukrainian special operation forces take part in an operation to detain a man who reportedly was shooting and threatened to blow up a bridge across the Dnipro River on Sept. 18, 2019, in Kyiv. Police said the man had stopped traffic on the bridge over the Dnipro river and was "firing shots and threatening to carry out an explosion."

SWAT officers have detained the man who threatened to blow up the Metro Bridge in Kyiv, a NewsOne TV presenter said live on air.

Law enforcers detained the man and put him into a police van, the presenter said.

As it was reported earlier, a man had blocked the Kyiv metro system bridge to traffic and was threatening to blow up both the bridge and a number of government establishments.
