A 34-year-old inspector of the Peacemaker special-purpose battalion of the Main Department of the National Police in Kyiv region Denys Myronov died on April 6 at 08:30 while serving at a checkpoint on the contact line on the outskirts of the town of Svatove, Luhansk region.
“During the period of service, the senior police lieutenant has shown himself as an experienced officer who conscientiously treated the performance of his functional duties (…) We express our condolences to the family and friends of Denys Yuriyovych. Memory eternal!” the police said on Facebook.
At the same time, the police did not report on the reasons, circumstances, or details of the death of the officer.
