Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak has dismissed head of the psychiatry clinic of the Main Military Clinical Hospital Oleh Druz due to unsatisfactory work and launched an official probe.

“I’ve just made a decision to dismiss Colonel Oleh Druz, the head of the psychiatry clinic of the National Military Medical Clinical Center ‘Main Military Clinical Hospital,’ in connection with the unsatisfactory fulfillment of official duties and requested an official investigation,” the Defense Minister wrote on Facebook on Sept. 20.

Druz was earlier reported to have said that 93 percent of participants in the military actions in Donbas pose a potential threat to society and need to undergo treatment. Donbas war veterans were critical of Druz’s statement.
