Former President of Ukraine and head of the European Solidarity faction Petro Poroshenko has accused incumbent President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky of organizing paid protests near his home in the village of Kozyn.

“Today we saw that Russian-speaking titushky (thugs) are ready to sell Ukraine for money. With this dirty scenario, made for money and stolen from taxpayers, they are trying to divert attention in order to avoid responsibility … I want to say to the President’s Office: you will be responsible for this. You will be responsible for the inaction of law enforcement agencies, for the fact that the President’s Office issues orders to buy titushky, sends them here, vilifying Ukraine,” Poroshenko wrote on his Facebook page.

At the same time, he thanked the veterans and activists who stood up for him.

As reported, on October 9 evening, near Poroshenko’s house there were clashes between two groups of people: some tried to break through to the house, accusing him of collaborating with Medvedchuk in 2014-2015, while others defended him.
