Fifth president of Ukraine, leader of the European Solidarity party Petro Poroshenko is convinced that the internal political situation in Ukraine has all the signs of a crisis in public administration and claimed the need to jointly ensure the movement of Ukraine through reforms into a united European family.

“We cannot calmly observe how Ukraine, which we have been building together with you since 2014, is slipping into the chaos of uncontrollability, autocracy and pro-Russian anti-Ukrainian revenge,” the press service of the European solidarity said.

According to the politician, the key priorities of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU next year should be strengthening Ukraine’s resilience against Russian aggression, tightening EU sanctions against the Russian Federation, ensuring macroeconomic stability of Ukraine through cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the EU, coordinating efforts to counter the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, including ensuring fast deliveries of effective vaccines to Ukraine, as well as updating the Association Agreement to bring it in line with modern challenges.

“Our main strategic goal is to create conditions for ensuring Ukraine’s membership in the European Union, an idea that is supported by the majority of Ukrainian society and citizens of the EU countries. The European Solidarity will do everything possible to ensure the inevitability of the course of reforms and counter pro-Russian revenge,” Poroshenko said.
