President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko notes that in areas where martial law is introduced, military administrations will not be set up, but defense headquarters will be formed to organize the preparation of territorial defense.

“Military administrations won’t be set up, but only defense headquarters will be created for organizing the preparation of territorial defense, reserve force verification, testing mobilization opportunities, and technical condition checks,” he said in an interview with Ukrainian television channels on Nov. 27.

Poroshenko indicated that “a part of the troops would be redeployed, combat coordination reduced, the length of stay in points of permanent deployment and advancement to the border reduced, in order to immediately organize an effective defense.”
