President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law adopted earlier by the parliament on “Amendments to some legislative acts to ensure observance of the rights of participants in criminal proceedings and other persons by law enforcement agencies during the pretrial investigation”, the so called “stop masks show!” law.

“How is it so immediately in our society?” It’s very simple: to ban a mask show. We then used this terminology, and we did it [developed and passed the law]. And I would like today, in your presence, at this solemn moment, to sign this historic document,” Poroshenko said at a business and government dialogue in Kyiv on Dec. 1 and signed the law.
