President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt changes to the Constitution in the part of decentralization, when appropriate conditions are created to this end.
“When appropriate conditions are created for this – I emphasize once again – we must complete the amendments to the Constitution on decentralization in order to consolidate the new model of local self-government at the level of the Basic Law,” Poroshenko said at the ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the Association Cities of Ukraine in Kyiv on June 30.
