You're reading: PrivatBank denies intentional blocking of European Solidarity’s funds

The state-owned PrivatBank (Kyiv) has denied deliberate blocking of funds allocated by the European Solidarity party for the election campaign, the bank’s press service said on Oct. 8.

“PrivatBank (…) works outside of politics and the influence of any political forces. The bank conducts operations of its clients, strictly complying with all the requirements of the legislation on financial monitoring,” the press service of the faction said in its response to the request of the Interfax-Ukraine agency.

As reported, European Solidarity on Oct. 8 accused PrivatBank of blocking the transfer of funds to the accounts of regional party structures without any reason.
