Ihor Huzhva, editor-in-chief of the Internet newspaper Strana.UA, will be put on the wanted list, if he does not come to the court session on Feb.12, press secretary of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Larysa Sarhan told Interfax-Ukraine.

“If Huzhva does not arrive at the court session scheduled for February 12, he, according to the procedure, will be put on interstate and then international wanted list,” Sarhan told Interfax-Ukraine on Feb.6.

Earlier on this day, speaker of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, Andriy Lysenko, reported on his Facebook page that on February 5, 2018, the Shevchenkivsky District Court of Kyiv granted permission to arrest Huzhva for the purpose of bringing him to court to resolve the issue of changing the measure of restraint from a bail to custody. The next court session is scheduled for Feb.12, 2018.

In turn, editor-in-chief of the Internet newspaper Strana.UA Huzhva said on his Facebook page that the court had decided to detain him and force him to be delivered to the meeting. “If this does not happen, then the next step is putting me on the wanted list,” he wrote.
