The Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (ARC) has launched criminal proceedings on the fact of inciting ethnic hatred in the publication of a Crimean blogger who wrote that “there are three problems in Crimea: water, Ukrainian passports and Crimean Tatars.”
According to the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, at the request of the representative office of the President of Ukraine in Crimea, criminal proceedings have been initiated on the fact of committing actions aimed at inciting at humiliating national honor and dignity contained in the blogger’s publication.
Thus, possible manifestations of national discrimination are investigated in the article “There are three problems in Crimea: water, Ukrainian passports and Crimean Tatars” by one of the Crimean bloggers.
Under the criminal proceedings, it is planned to carry out a linguistic examination of this article.
Currently, measures are being taken to identify the persons involved in the commission of this offense.
According to the Krym.Realii Internet publication, the post with the above title appeared earlier on the Business Online Internet portal under the authorship of Russian blogger Oleksandr Gorny.
