The Verkhovna Rada has considered 1,193 amendments to bill No. 2178-10 “On the turnover of agricultural land.”
On Feb. 20, during morning and evening plenary meetings, deputies considered 544 amendments to the document, without approving any of them, an Interfax-Ukraine agency correspondent reported.
In total, the Verkhovna Rada considered 1,193 of 4,018 amendments to bill No. 2178-10 “On the turnover of agricultural land.”
For the entire time of the consideration, deputies supported only one amendment (No. 48), which obliges the owners and users of the land plots to grant the right of easement to ensure the passage of other owners to the proper land.
The Verkhovna Rada began consideration of the bill on Feb. 6.
Head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia previously stated that parliament, according to optimistic forecasts, would be able to pass the bill on the land market at the end of March.
