Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has given its consent for the appointment of Iryna Venediktova as Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
As a correspondent of Interfax-Ukraine reported, 269 MPs voted for such a decision during their plenary meeting on March 17.
As reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a draft decree on the appointment of Acting Director of the State Bureau of Investigations Iryna Venediktova as Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
