You're reading: Rada passes bill with amendments to state budget 2021

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a bill on amending the law on the state budget of Ukraine for 2021 with regard to the implementation of social actions and infrastructure projects, the press service of the Rada said on October 8.

“The bill increases the general fund of the state budget by Hr 39.41 billion and aims at providing funding for urgent social needs and infrastructure projects,” the press service said.

The adopted amendments envisage the provision of financing of state social support to pay for housing and utilities – by Hr 12.0 billion; covering the deficit for the payment of cash support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine – by Hr 5.7 billion; payment for a package of services for inpatient care for patients with COVID-19 – by Hr 2.0 billion and financing for the implementation of the program of the President and the Government for the development of transport infrastructure.
