Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov signed a resolution to convene an extraordinary session of parliament on August 23, press secretary of the parliament’s chairman Olha Tuniy has said.
“It [the session] will consider a draft resolution on the appeal of the Verkhovna Rada to the UN, PACE, OSCE PA, NATO PA, BSECO PA, the European Parliament, governments and parliaments of foreign states on strengthening international cooperation within the Crimean Platform to counter the aggression of Russia (No. 5775),” Tunius said on Facebook on August 18.
According to her, the Verkhovna Rada extraordinary session will start at 16:00 and it is convened at the request of 156 MPs.
