A delegate of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for work with the police and security agencies has met with Chief of the Human Rights Department of the National Police of Ukraine Ruslan Horiachenko to pass 10,000 protective masks for detention facilities.
“Personal protective equipment will be used for safety of persons kept in detention facilities and employees of these establishments,” the National Police said on April 22.
During the meeting, the sides also discussed mutual cooperation, in particular for human rights protection during work of the police.
